About
About me
I’m Huan Truong, a geek from Hanoi, Vietnam. I am a life-long learner, I especially like embedded systems, cryptography, hardware hacking, software algorithms, language (constructed+natural), translation, photography, computational and engineering problems. I’m a believer in the free movement of information, culture and society.
Education Timeline: In 2007, I attended The Academy of Cryptography back in Vietnam but dropped out after half a year to focus on studying abroad. In December 2011, I graduated from Truman State University with a Computer Science degree with honors. In 2011, I worked at Carnegie Mellon University as a undergraduate researcher. Beginning August 2012, I will start working on my PhD degree in BioInformatics at University of Missouri, Informatics Institute.
